On todays show Patricia was focusing on the immense indigence thats in Kenya and Africa at large. Millions of children starve across Africa every year - Africa gets over 50% of the world's emergency food relief yet contributes less than 1% of total contributions to make it happen. The show today showed the poverty around Africa and the horrible situations people live in. The background music captured the mood of the audience as it was slow and acoustic. There was panning from left to right of the slum areas where little street children were shown in their environs. There was also a zoom in on a dying woman who had not had anything to eat in a long while, she was skin and bones and was unable to walk due to her condition. There was an extreme close up that showed the anguish and pain she was undergoing. There was also an establishing shot showing the impoverished areas these people lived in.
