List and explain the digitization process?
Digitizing an analog signal is a four-step process
Anti-aliasing- in this step extreme frequencies of the analog that are unnecessary for its proper sampling are filtered out.
Sampling process- In the sampling stage the analog signals are selected for building digital values. The higher the sampling rates the more they look like the analog signal. A high sapling rate is preferred over a low one. The sampling rate of a video signal is usually expressed in megahertz(MHz)
Quantitizing- this means to separate continuously variable signal into defined levels and fitting them into the desired sample range.
Coding- changes the quantization numbers of each step to binary numbers consisting of 0’s and 1’s and the various grouping of bits

Well done Muskerteers. However, why is high sampling rate prefered? What difference would it make if one opts to use a low sampling rate? More discussion on this please.
