Dorcas, your critique is quite good on content evaluation but has not covered other aspects of broadcast techniques e.g sound and camera handling techniques etc. You simply mentioned camera angles and movements - can you analyze this further especially on the impact of the camera shots and movements used on you as a viewer. In your opinion, were these the best selection of shots?
Keep updating your journal on a weekly basis. Try to relate what you view to what you learn both in class and assigned readings. Identify the disconnects and suggest better ways of making the programme better. Suppose, you were the producer of this programme what would you do differently?
Thanks for taking charge of class while I was held up with studio operations exam. I hope it was a learning experience. I'd be glad to assist you if there is anything you still do not understand on camera handling techniques. However, major secret is practice: so take time to practice. Simply borrow camera from our technicians and do alot of practice.
