My name is Stephanie and I will begin my blogging experience by a critique of our last class on Microphones and Sound. It was informative as I was able to learn about the various types of microphones and that one does not just pick any mic they find lying around and begin using it. One has to consider whether it will be used inside or outside. But I feel that the presentation was abit rushed and most of us didi not understand some of the additional points given.

This is Cynthia, and i agree with Stephanie I really loved the topic on microphones and learnt something new especially the sounding generating elements of the microphone: dynamic, condenser and ribbon mics.
As Mrs Kowour always says, we are in this class to learn to be professionals in the broadcasting field, not amateurs because anyone can be an amateur.
The presentation was however rushy especially the second part of it but i got to learn that crystal mics do exist.
Thank you LIlly and Peter for preparing and executing the presentation in class.
Thanks Stephanie for posting this reflection on our microphones and sound lesson. I now pose the challenge to other members of class to come up with suggestions on what we need to do to sort out this problem. Stephanie, based on their suggestions, come up with a workplan for the class.
