bongo star search

Some of the production elements in my programme of critique-Bongo Star Search is lighting, sound, post production editing and special effects. The lighting is commendable because it is neither too bright nor too dull. It brings neutrality and compliments the background of the audition stage. The lighting mood then changes with a change in environment, for example when the go outdoors the lighting is natural the make use of the natural sunlight.
The sound amplification is also commendable since they make good use of microphones such as the Judges who us the lavellier microphones and the audition use shot-gun microphones making it easier for them to do moves such as dancing and using their own instruments. The sound manager in-charge of sound for the show has tried to normalize the sound output whereby the pitch is neither too high nor too low being a nuisance to the listening publics this has also been managed mostly during the post-production editing.
There is use of special effects in the show fro example the screen is divided into two showing two locations that is inside the audition room and outside the audition room. This has come up in a few episodes
Post production is also evident in the show since it is not a live coverage. Also outside the audition room are many people but we only get to see a few participating and picked to proceed to the next level during the shows standard airing time which is twenty-four minutes.
There are various camera shots that are visible some of which are the cut-in which is done at the editing stage. There is also the WS the wide shot, EWS the extremely wide shot and so on.
There is also good team work evident since the show is in the first season on air and it is doing great.
there is also censoring like the last episode on 18th march 2010 a participant had altered a vulgar words and during editing there was censoring that was done.
